Setting up the Anki scheduler algorithm
The ideal way of using the ATPL flashcards is to use the clever Anki scheduling algorithm. The idea is to just click on the main deck ("ATPL" if you're studying both the Knowledge and Airbus cards, "A320 Family" if you're only studying Airbus A320 cards and "ATPL Knowledge" if you only study the general ATPL knowledge cards), and let Anki choose which cards to study/review.
If you follow the recommended setting below, each day you will see 10 new flashcards.
Once you've answered a flashcard, four options will show on the bottom of the answer card:
It is up to you to select how well you knew the answer to this question. Each option shows when you will see this specific flashcard again when you click it. In this case its either again in less than 1 min, less than 6 min, less than, 10 min or 9 days. Next time you see this card, the intervals will be larger (e.g. <10 min, 1 day, 3 days, 14 days).
The cards you've answered will return in the following days based on the by Anki created schedule, so on top of the 10 new cards each day, you will review a certain amount of cards you have already seen. The more you have answered a specific card, the longer it will take before you see it again.
The "red" option will always have a very low repetition interval. Let's say after 30 days you have completely forgotten the answer to this flashcard, selecting the "red" option will 'reset' the interval and make that specific flashcard show up more frequent again.
